“Water Lilies” is a print inspired by Monet’s Water Lily paintings. This was an experiment to see if I could capture the post-impressionist style brushwork into a print. A little abstract, very loose, much different from my usual way of printing. This print is a 5 layer reduction linocut print using Speedball oil based ink.
It is a reduction print meaning the block has been destroyed through the process of creating it so no more can be printed.
“Water Lilies” is a 9” x 12” image on 11” x 14” archival paper.
This is a limited edition of 9.
