“Starling” is a print inspired by my love for birds and the night sky. The print features the constellations of the big dipper and little dipper below a sliver of the moon. Starlings look black from a distance but are a wild array of blues and purples when looked at up close, so for one special print I hand-painted the color of their feathers using watercolors.
It is a one layer print, however the block has been destroyed so no more can be printed.
“Starling” is a 9”x12” image on 11”x14” archival paper.
This is a one of a kind version of this print.
